01 / Summer marketing role
Windsor Township Business Association
During my summer with WTBA, I created videos, promoted events, designed campaign materials, communicated with businesses, conducted visitor research, and helped build a stronger library of content for the organization.
Wider social impact
The results speak for themself
These updated Meta results cover my WTBA term beginning June 22 and reflect the full mix of video storytelling, event promotion, local-business content, and community communications I produced.
Featured WTBA project
Good Morning Windsor
I developed the series to give local businesses more than a standard spotlight. Each episode grouped several businesses or places around a theme and showed the people, work, and details behind them.

My role
I developed the concept, coordinated with participating businesses, planned and captured the footage, edited each episode, and managed the series rollout across WTBA’s social channels.
Help more people discover what Windsor offers
I saw an opportunity to introduce audiences to businesses they may not have discovered yet, while also highlighting established businesses that strengthen Windsor’s appeal as a place to visit. By showing the people, places, and experiences behind the storefronts, the series could support local business discovery and give WTBA stronger content for tourism outreach.
Show Windsor waking up
I wanted each episode to feel like a short morning tour of Windsor. The videos moved between storefronts, behind-the-scenes work, products, customers, and the people who make each place different.
Make every episode feel connected
Grouping businesses around a theme gave each video a clear idea. Keeping the same series identity made the campaign recognizable, while the changing locations and stories kept it from becoming repetitive.
Series results
The series reached people who were not already following WTBA
The seven episodes generated 54,500 views and featured 31 participating businesses. Episode 4 added 35 new followers and Episode 7 added 28, helping bring the series total to 71. Most importantly, 65% of reel viewers were non-followers, which meant the businesses were being introduced to a wider audience.
More from my WTBA term
The work went beyond one video series
Alongside Good Morning Windsor, I supported community events, created promotional campaigns, kept businesses informed, gathered visitor feedback, and left WTBA with content and templates it could continue using.
Campaigns that helped people know what was happening
I created content for the Summer Concert Series, Artists Alley Market, CLASSIFIED ticket giveaways, Avon River Days, and other community programming.
Keeping local businesses involved
I helped produce five summer newsletters with event updates, past results, promotional opportunities, and ways for businesses to participate.
Work WTBA could use after the summer
I developed and conducted a visitor survey designed to identify travel motivations, visitor interests, and opportunities to strengthen tourism outreach. I also created reusable promotional templates and built a stronger video library featuring businesses, attractions, events, and community spaces.
Featured event promotion
Voodoo Charmers · Summer Concert Series
I created a promotional reel for the Voodoo Charmers’ performance, using footage captured at a band practice and interview clips to build familiarity with the performers and interest in the event.
